Our Terms of Services

If you are unhappy with any area we have cleaned, call the office within 24 hours, and we will come back and re‐clean it free of charge. The maids must be allowed to return to the home within the next two business days.

Hours

Our regular workdays are Monday– Friday, 8:00-5:00, with weekends reserved primarily for commercial customers. 

Scheduling

We are flexible and accommodate our client’s scheduling needs. Please let us know if you need to reschedule a cleaning appointment promptly. Please understand that when you hire Garcia Green Cleaners LLC and reserve a cleaning slot, we secure the staffing to complete the work. We aim to provide our clients with the highest quality service and pride ourselves on our exceptional staff. To attract and retain the best cleaners we must provide our staff with consistent hours. Please give us 1-2 weeks advance notice of any scheduling changes. In that case, it allows Garcia Green Cleaners LLC to find another cleaning project to fill your slot. Last-minute notifications make it impossible to fill your slot. Consequently, we may also turn down additional work if we believe our schedules are full.

Late Cancellation Fee

If you need to reschedule your service, please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice. If you cancel on the day of service or if we arrive at your home and are turned away or unable to clean as scheduled, there will be a $50.00 fee to cover our travel and labor expenses.

Scheduling changes may result in the following:

Price Changes- your pricing is based upon the frequency of service.

Bi-monthly customers who skip a cleaning, creating a four-week interval between visits, will be charged the monthly rate on their next service.

Someone from our management team will assess clients closely. For those (every four weeks) needing to reschedule or skip, resulting in gaps of 5 – 8 weeks between services, an extra cleaning fee comparable to the size and condition of their home will be considered.

Customers with a gap of more than eight weeks since their last cleaning will be considered a start-up service and billed at $50 per maid hour to bring the home back up to maintenance level.

A Different Maid Team

We may need to send a different team to clean your home for this off‐schedule visit, as your “regular” cleaning team may have a full schedule. We aim to schedule the same teams as much as possible. However, clients make updates to our schedule almost weekly. The cleaning teams also have medical, family, and personal commitments that cause interruptions in our pre-committed schedule. 

Additional Service Fees (For additional time needed to clean your home)

When you hire Garcia Green Cleaners LLC, you hire us to maintain your home correctly. Our fees are propagated based on the time it takes to clean your home in half-hour increments. Our maids may need more time to complete the specific cleaning initially agreed upon at the time of service.

A few examples include:

  • The condition of your home is different than what you represented when we established your Estimate.
  • Excessive dirt/dust/stains resulting from remodeling/construction, post‐party cleanup. 
  • The number of occupants in your home has changed.
  • You have added a pet or additional pets to your family.
  • You have changed the flooring in your home from carpet to hard surface floor or wood floors.

Suppose a particular cleaning requires more than the allocated time due to the above situations. In that case, we will bill you reasonably for our time. If we notice a pattern requiring additional time because of different home requirements, we would need to discuss changing your regular fee for services.

Service Limits

Our employees’ safety is essential. We always require them to wear non-slip shoes and avoid climbing ladders higher than our multi-step stools. Due to additional training and safety requirements, we do not clean bodily fluids, pet accidents, fleas, or pests, especially if our teams are under certain medications that can suppress their immune systems. 

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. Our management team will email you the service bill on the same or the following day. Making your payment online is our preferred method. You can pay using a credit card or by “ACH” bank transfer. Please make checks payable to Garcia Green Cleaners LLC as a last resort and mail them to PO Box 5164 Austin, Texas 78763. 

Arrival Times

The arrival time can vary due to traffic and the maids finishing up another home or taking their delayed break between cleaning jobs. We usually tell you within 15 to 30 minutes when you can expect the cleaners. Travel between jobs, weather conditions, and unexpected cleaning needs at a prior location will affect our arrival time at your home.

Cleaning Teams

We generally clean in teams of two if your home is above 2700 square feet. Otherwise, the same cleaning lead will be assigned to your home regularly unless someone else needs to fill in. Each team is assigned a team manager. Occasionally, we may send a team of three on larger projects, especially construction cleaning. We make every effort to send the same team to your home, and, in most cases, you will have at least one team member familiar with the routine in your home. 

Pets

Please advise us if you have pets. We prefer that pets be restricted to allow us to clean your home efficiently. For health reasons, our staff will not handle animal waste. Our management team offers occasional pet sitting and pet walking only to our current customers should they need our help. 

Direct Hiring of Our Management/Maids/Cleaners

Garcia Green Cleaners LLC invests heavily in our training methods and background screening to find quality employees. By hiring Garcia Green Cleaners LLC, you agree not to solicit nor hire anyone currently or formerly employed by us within two years following such employment. Hiring a current or former employee and accepting side propositions makes you liable for an employment referral fee of $3,000.00. Using our service, you agree to notify us of any attempts to solicit or accept business outside of Garcia Green Cleaners LLC. Exchanging contact info is also considered part of this breach unless Garcia Green Cleaners LLC has authorized prior permission. Remember that hiring a maid independently as an employee can make the homeowner responsible for employer/employee withholding taxes.

Expedite Your Cleaning

Please pick up clothing, toys, and other household items so that we can thoroughly clean your home. Also, please place fresh linens on any beds you wish to have changed while we are there.

Home Access

Please make sure your home is accessible to your cleaning crew. The most convenient and secure method is to provide Garcia Green Cleaners LLC with a house key or garage code. Our owner will ensure that the keys and codes to your home and office are always safely kept. If, upon arrival, we cannot access your home as scheduled, a $50.00 lock-out fee will be assessed to cover our labor and travel expenses.

Accidental breakage/damage

We treat your home with complete care and respect. Suppose damage or breakage occurs while we are cleaning. In that case, the team manager will leave a notice, inform the owner, and complete a breakage report. The cleaning person will be responsible for replacing the broken item. Suppose they cannot afford to replace the damaged item. In that case, Garcia Green Cleaners LLC will intervene and draft daily payments out of their earnings until they reach the threshold to pay back the homeowner. When appropriate, the owner will file an insurance claim. Please advise Garcia Green Cleaners LLC if you have collectibles, irreplaceable items, or sensitive items that require special attention.

Windows

We can clean the interior windows within our reach using a stepladder. We can clean the exterior of tilt-in windows. We will require an add-on fee for both internal and external window cleaning. Please mention this at the time of booking since it requires additional pricing. As a matter of routine, we remove hand prints and nose prints caused by children and pets on sliding glass doors and lower portions of windows. (Windows -$5 per single window)

Dishes & laundry

We do not usually do dishes or Laundry. However, if you are bound and wish to pay for these additional services, we would happily provide them at an extra price. (Dishes – $35 to load dirty dishes into the dishwasher, Laundry – $35 for one load of Laundry, $50 to dry and fold)

Safety

Cleaners wear attire that designates them as Garcia Green Cleaners LLC employees. The owner grants them the freedom to dress to their liking as long as they show up in attire that appears professional. They are not permitted to let anyone enter your home while they are there. The team managers are required to wear shoes at all times. If you are uncomfortable with their clothing style, please report it to us ASAP, and we will address it promptly. 

Professionalism

Each team member should act professionally, responsibly, and respectfully at all times. We will uphold the confidentiality and privacy of our clients at all times. Suppose you have doubts about any cleaner’s professionalism at any time. In that case, they should be reported promptly to the Garcia Green Cleaners LLC office at garciagreencleaners@gmail.com.

Tipping

Customers can leave a tip for our cleaning team online through our platform. The team manager will email you the cleaning bill; you can add a tip to your bill. Alternatively, feel free to leave cash on the counter with a note mentioning that it is for them; otherwise, it won’t be evident to them. 

Holidays

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service. Our office is closed on the following Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Please Note: Garcia Green Cleaners LLC works on many federal holidays. If you are having a special event or require cleaning on a holiday, we may choose to do the work for a surplus. You can expect our arrival if your cleaning date falls on a holiday other than those above. Additionally, you can request service far in advance to ensure we can fulfill it. 

Employment Practices

We practice fair hiring, working, and employment policies with all our employees. We are a registered corporation in Texas named Garcia Green Cleaners LLC and have filed the appropriate paperwork with the US government. We file annual state and federal income tax returns and quarterly employment reports and pay all taxes, including employee tax match and withholding, required by federal and state laws. Our cleaning and management teams make up the majority of the revenue generated. The cleaning team makes 75% of the total cleaning price, and the management team makes $4,000 monthly, split among the two. The owner doesn’t profit from this business and is, in fact, solely trying to keep the company afloat. However, it is still recovering from the pandemic.  

Annual Price Review

We review all of our prices annually and update them accordingly. You will receive notice of any adjustment to your pricing. Our owner is trying their best to pay our cleaning team fairly. We are a small company and plan to remain small to ensure that we only maximize our team’s efforts to keep them in good health. We plan to pay our teams up to a one-week paid time off during the year. We appreciate your continued support in keeping our small team employed. 

Negative Reviews

Garcia Green Cleaners LLC requires seven days to fix and resolve any issues and problems before posting negative feedback on any public website. It applies to Google, Yelp, and Nextdoor but is not limited to them. 

Moving Heavy Furniture

Due to safety concerns, Garcia Green Cleaners LLC will not allow its cleaners to move or lift heavy items or furniture. If you want us to clean behind large appliances (e.g., stove, fridge) or furniture (e.g., couch), please move them before our arrival.
