This September, as we observe National Recovery Month, we’re excited to share the inspiring story of CLEAN Cause and its mission to support those recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. Garcia Green Cleaning, a local home and commercial cleaning company, has partnered with CLEAN Cause to bring these empowering beverages to our community and customers.

CLEAN Cause’s journey began with founder Wes Hurt, who witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of the addiction crisis on families across the nation. Determined to make a difference, Wes identified a crucial need in the recovery process: safe and supportive housing during the transition from rehab to reintegration.

This realization led to the creation of “CLEAN Kickstarts,” a recovery housing initiative designed to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and re-entry into society. By providing a structured environment, CLEAN Kickstarts enables individuals in early recovery to establish healthy routines and find employment, setting the foundation for long-term success.

What sets CLEAN Cause apart is its commitment to dedicating 50% of net profits (or 5% of net revenue, whichever is greater) to support addiction recovery through the CLEAN Cause Foundation. To date, they’ve generated over $3,364,300 for this vital cause.

The company’s product line evolved from Wes’s personal need for a caffeine alternative that was organic, refreshing, and gentle on the stomach. This led to the creation of CLEAN Sparkling Yerba Mate and CLEAN Sparkling Pick-Me-Up, which quickly gained popularity among those seeking a healthier energy boost.

From its humble beginnings of selling bottled water out of a truck in Austin, Texas, CLEAN Cause has grown into a nationwide brand. Each can sold not only provides a refreshing drink but also contributes to the recovery journey of individuals across the country.
